All sign-up information is on the Menlo Park School website under Clubs.
(Students who participate in the workshop are not required to participate in the Spring Play, however, if they want to be in the Play they must participate in BOTH the Drama Workshop and the Drama Club.)
WORKSHOP INFORMATION
Drama Workshop is on Monday afternoons directly after school.
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the Gym and on the stage.
Pick-up will be at the back of the school by the Gym.
(No limit for number of participants)
Cost is $40.00 payable in cash. Send it to the Office in a marked envelope with your child's name, homeroom and
MPS DRAMA WORKSHOP.
The students will learn:
- Theater Basics
- Stage Directions
- Focus Games
- Ensemble Building Games
- Ways to help Project their Voices
- Students will perform in short skits.

November 4, 11, 18, 25
December 2,9,16

DRAMA CLUB SPRING PLAY INFORMATION
All students in Grades 4 & 5 are invited to participate in the Menlo Park School Drama Club under the direction of Diane Ruiz.
All sign-up information is on the Menlo Park School website under Clubs.
*ALL STUDENTS WHO WANT TO BE IN THE SPRING PLAY MUST SIGN-UP FOR THE DRAMA WORKSHOP AND THE DRAMA CLUB.
The practices for the Play will be on Monday and Tuesday Evenings
6:30pm – 8:00pm in the Gym on the Stage.
* Drop-off and Pick-up will be at the back of the school by the Gym.
The membership will be capped at 50 students.
ALL MEMBERS MUST BE AT ALL PRACTICES!!!
The Musical Play this year is “Seussical, Kids”
(Cost: $20.00 will be collected in January in a marked envelope during the auditions to help with the costs for the scripts, materials, costumes and scenery.)
Practices and Performance dates are as follows:
AUDITIONS: January 6, 7
January 13, 14, 21, 27, 28
February 3, 4, 10, 17, 18, 24, 25
March 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, 31
April 1, 2, 3, (April 1 & 2 are the Evening Performances@ 7pm)
